Fuenta de Piedra is a large mudflat lagoon north of Antequera. The mudflat is home to the largest population of flamingos in Andalusia. This population swells between January and July with April being the highest concentration. There is an information centre with all the information you could ever need on the area and flamingos. The centre also has various viewing points and the staff can advise the best viewing point for that day. There are also private tours from the centre.
