The Royal Collegiate of Santa Maria is a church built in the 16th century. It was the first in Andalusia to use Columns either side of centre to support the roof. The design, like most churches
constructed around that time is a mixture of Renaissance, Gothic and the typical Mudejar facades around the arches. Today the church is used for concerts and exhibitions. It was also used as a

By Car
Antequera is just off the A45. 55 kilometres from Malaga. Take the A7 to Malaga then take the A45 to Antequera. Antequera is easy to drive to. For parking

There are regular buses to Antequera from Malaga bus station.
By Train
There is no direct route by train to Antequera from Malaga. It is possible but not
recommended.

Adults €6.00 / 7 to 16 year olds €3.00 / under 6 free. This includes access to the Alcazaba.
