The Stupa at Benalmadena is one of sixteen built in Europe and Russia. The spiritual temple symbolises Buddhism enlightenment. It is also the last and largest built by Lopon Tchechu Rinpoche. Inside the building is a gold statue above an alter. The temple offers free meditation lessons on Tuesday & Fridays at 6:00pm. The temple is free to walk around but there is a charge to go downstairs. There are some great views of the Costa del Sol from the outside of the building.
