The Plaza De La
Constitucion was named in May of 1841 by the first mayor of Fuengirola Antonio Garci'a Cortés after Fuengirola was accepted by Malaga as separate from
Mijas. The Plaza is surrounded with bar's and cafe's with the Nuestra Senora del Rosario church taking centre stage. The Plaza is central to life in Fuengirola. At Christmas
the Christmas market is held there followed by the three kings tent. At Easter La Sementa Santa church service is performed there. New Year's celebration etc etc. When there is nothing on in the
Plaza it's a great place to go and have a drink or sit on a bench and watch the world go by. See below for more details including a google map for directions from your current location.
