The boardwalk in La Cala de Mijas is a 6km walk that ends 500 meters short of Cabopino passing through Calahonda. The boardwalk forms part of the Senda Litoral De Malaga (Malaga coastal path) and if its ever completed will run from Nerja to Manilva and span 163 kms . The board walk has bar's and restaurant's along the way as it hugs the coastline. The Boardwalk continues across the cabopino sand dune nature reserve. (see cabopino page for more information) This is a great attraction in La Cala de Mijas and a must when visiting the village.
