This is the main shopping street in Malaga, if there’ a party going on then this is the street where it’s at. It’s totally pedestrianised at one end you have Alameda Principal and the Plaza de la Constitution at the other end. During the Christmas period there is an amazing display with over 4,000,000 lights and by far the best on the Costa del Sol. The Carnival parade starts here in February, in May La Noche en Blanco where street performers gather. Throughout the year there is a lot going on here and if not …then go shopping. There are a lot of little side streets off de Larios, it’s great to just wander around getting lost and enter the magic of this ancient city.
