Parking in Malaga

There is a lot of Parking in Malaga, but it is not the easiest place to drive through. It is the capital city for the region. But there is a trick to avoid the centre of Malaga. If approaching from the Marbella side of Malaga on the A7 take the MA-21 at Torremolinos  to Malaga then the MA-22 which will become the coastal road. If approaching from La Cala de Morals then leave the A7 at Junction 246 and pick up the N-340 to Malaga. Both are the coastal road and avoid the city centre. The parking places we have chosen consider driving skills, pay and free parking. We would not recommend street parking due to parking violations and fines. If you do then please check the rules for parking and read general rules to street parking below. All the parking places on this webpage are pinpointed with an interactive google map. These maps will direct you to the parking place and help you find the parking place if you get lost while exploring this amazing city using a smart phone. So save this page. Don't forget to have a look at the toolbar on the left for all the attractions in Malaga, all with interactive directional maps. general rules to street parking

The first parking place we have chosen is proberbly the best all round parking place in Malaga. Read the note above about getting to Calle Pacifico (MA-22) To make it very easy to navigate to. The parking off the promenade is free and about a 10 to 15 minute walk into the city centre. Check that there are no parking restrictions as rules can change. If you are navigating with a hand held device then click the red icon on the map for directions. If you are using sat nav then enter destination as Calle Pacifico, Malaga. Don't forget you can use your handheld device to find the car park if have forgotten where it is when you have finished exploring the amazing city of Malaga.

The second parking place we have chosen is Muelle Uno. Easy to get to if you follow directions above and a perfect location for most of the attractions in Malaga. The car park is underground and is a pay car park. If you are navigating with a hand held device then click the red icon on the map for directions. If you are using sat nav then enter destination as Calle Pacifico, Malaga. Don't forget you can use your handheld device to find the car park if have forgotten where it is when you have finished exploring the amazing city of Malaga.

The third parking place we have chosen is Parking Malagueta on Calle Maestranza just off the N-340 so again easy to get to if you read the notes at the top of the page and near the centre of town. This car park is best if approaching from La Cala de Morels. If you are navigating with a hand held device then click the red icon on the map for directions. If you are using sat nav then enter destination as Calle Maestranza, Malaga. Don't forget you can use your handheld device to find the car park if have forgotten where it is when you have finished exploring the amazing city of Malaga.

The forth parking place we have chosen is right outside Malaga but on the Renfe malaga Fuengirola train track. Plaza Mayor is Malaga's out of town shopping centre and a minute off the A7 motorway. So if you do not want to drive into Malaga then park here and take the 5 minute train ride into Malaga. The parking is free and the train is a couple of Euro's. Take the train to the last stop Malaga central. One word of warning make sure the return train is to Fuengirola. If you have trouble finding Malaga central check the train webpage on this website.
