Not much of a castle now days, just ruins. But still worth a look as it adds to the character of the old Quarter. Part of the walls have been incorporated into the new buildings in the castle grounds. The castle was built by the Moors and dated back to the 6th century. Getting to Marbella
By Car Enter the A7 towards Marbella take the N340 into Marbella then see below for parking options. Select a carpark then click & go.
By Bus The best place to exit the bus is parque de la Alameda. For bus schedules click here. To monitor your progress on the bus use click & go by going to Marbella bus stop & station then click on the icon on the map Parque de la Alameda or the main bus stop. This will help you to get off at the right bus stop.
By Train There is no train service to Marbella
