Parking in Mijas

There is a lot of Parking in Mijas and If you don't  attempt to drive through the centre it is very easy to navigate for parking. The best way into Mijas is on the A-387 or A368. The parking places we have chosen consider driving skills, pay and free parking.  We suggest that if you do street park be very careful and have a good look for parking meters and restrictions to avoid parking violations which can result in fines and tow aways. The first place we have chosen is the best parking place in Mijas. It's a multi story carpark underneath the Plaza Virgin de la Pena. It's easy to get to and avoids driving into the centre. It's a pay carpark but only a couple of euros per day. The second parking place we have chosen is the Plaza Virgin de la Pena. These parking spaces are free but with some are restrictions. The third place we have chosen is on the main road into Mijas. This is really a last resort parking place. The forth parking place we have chosen is on the road above Mijas. This is a great place to park for hiking and visiting the Ermita del Calvario church. It is free parking and there is also a path into the village through the white washed streets. If you are using sat nav then enter destination as , a-387 ctra.
