This little museum is situated just off the Plaza de la Constitucion and focuses on the daily life, technology and living conditions through the ages in Mijas. The museum is spread across twelve rooms and on multiple levels with a beautiful courtyard at its centre. There is a recreated dwelling that shows how the ancesters of Mijas lived, farming tools, which was the main employment then and of course the wine and olive presses. There is a display of herbs used and various cooking impliments used in that era. This is a great museum that shows the way people lived before the Costa del Sol arrived.
