This little museum is situated just off the Plaza de la Constitucion and focuses on the daily life, technology and living conditions through the ages in Mijas. The museum is spread
across twelve rooms and on multiple levels with a beautiful courtyard at its centre. There is a recreated dwelling that shows how the ancesters of Mijas lived, farming tools, which was the main
employment then and of course the wine and olive presses. There is a display of herbs used and various cooking impliments used in that era. This is a great museum that shows the way people lived

Getting to Mijas
By Car Enter the A7 towards Fuengirola, exit 210 on the A387 to
mijas then see below for parking options.
By Bus Getting to Mijas by bus is quite easy click here. Use click & go to monitor your progress on the
bus.
By Train There is no train service to Mijas. The nearest train station
is Fuengirola. There is a bus service from there to Mijas that takes around 15 minutes. See above for more details.
