Most towns and cities in Spain have a Plaza Espana but you will not find another one quite like Seville’s. It’s another stunning part of this amazing city. Plaza Espana was Built in 1929 for the Ibero-American Exposition World's Fair to bring Portugal, The United States and most of the South American counties closer together. The exposition opened in May 1929 and closed in June 1930. Many of the original building from the exposition are still in the Plaza.
