Many of the fairs & festvals on the Costa del Sol have been cancelled due to coronavirus so please check with the local tourist information centre.

Three Kings day: is celebrated all over Spain on the 5th & 6th of January. It is the first big event of the year. On the Costa del Sol it's no different. Three kings day is celebrated with a procession headed by the three kings moving slowly through the towns and villages at dusk on the 05th. The streets are lined with children waiting for sweets and treats thrown by the kings and there entourage as the parade goes by.  The three kings have the ability to appear simultaneously all over Spain at the same time. Although this is a procession for children it's still great to be a part of. Later that night the children leave their shoe's out so they get presents when they wake up on the 6th.
