Bus vs. Train from Torremolinos: Which is Best?

Torremolinos Centro offers both bus and train options, with stations just 100 meters apart. Your choice depends on your destination and priorities.

  • Mijas Pueblo & Benalmádena Pueblo: The bus is your only option, as trains don’t serve these areas.
  • Fuengirola & Malaga: Trains are faster and cost 1–2 euros more, while buses are slower but cheaper.
  • Benalmádena: For Arroyo de la Miel (markets or town), the train is better. For the marina, Sea Life, or beaches, take the bus since the train station is over 1 km from the coast.

Choose the bus for affordability and coastal stops or the train for speed and central locations

Tip:

if you are travelling to a destination by bus or train for the first time  follow your progress on your phone with google maps. its live and you can see where you are and where to get off.
