Torremolinos has some great car parks in and around the town. When looking for parking it’s best not to go into the town centre . The parking places below are all easy to get, mostly free and avoids the centre but close enough to walk. The first option is perfect if you want to visit the beach. The second is perfect if you want to visit the town centre and the third is perfect if you want to walk around the Parque de Bateria, from here its just a short walk to La Carihuela beach and promenade.
The first option is right on the beach at the Malaga side of Torremolinos on the Paseo Maritimo Calle dr Juan Hidalgo junction. It is really easy to get if you leave the A7 on the MA-20 N-340a junction this avoids the town centre. There is a small charge when the car park attendant is there. It is a 15 to 20 minute walk to the town centre but if its the beach you are after then this is the best car park. There is a number of other parking ares’s on the Paseo Maritimo its worth checking those out as well. If you are navigating with a hand held device then click the Directions only below for directions from your current position. If you are using sat nav then enter destination as Calle Dr. Juan Hidalgo. Don't forget you can use your handheld device to find the car park if have forgotten where it is when you have finished exploring Torremolinos.
the second option is in and around the fairground in Torremolinos. This is an excellent place to park. The majority of the parking is free, it’s close to the town centre and it’s just off the N340 so it’s super easy to get to. The only downside to parking here is when the fair is in town or when the Thursday outdoor market is on. There is still parking here but it fills up quick. If you are using sat nav then enter destination as Avenida de Real. If you are using a hand held device then click / tap directions only below. Don't forget you can use your handheld device to find the car park if have forgotten where it is when you have finished exploring Torremolinos.
The third option is next to La Parque de Bateria. The car park is situated minutes off the N-340a, easy to get to and free. Just check that because rules can change. The park itself is a great place to walk around. From here it's a 15 to 20 minute walk to the town centre or a couple of minutes on the train from Montemar Alto train station 2 minutes from the car park ( see our webpage on the train service) If you are navigating with a hand held device then click / tap directions only below for directions. If you are using sat nav then enter destination as Calle Delano Antonio Seoane Torremolinos. Don't forget you can use your handheld device to find the car park if have forgotten where it is when you have finished exploring Torremolinos.
A few years ago most parking in the Costa Del Sol was mostly free but that has now changed. There is still free parking available in most towns but you have to be careful. If you do get a parking ticket it can be paid at most ticket machines and you may get a 20% discount for prompt payment. If you are driving a hire car and get a ticket it will catch up with you which ever country you live in. Most towns have a free car park but finding them is not easy. Fairgrounds and bullrings tend to have the best free parking but thats not guaranteed. Below are 3 simple signs to watch out for when street parking but this is only a guide so be careful there are some rules that only local residents can know. The guide was correct at the time of publishing 2024 and is periodically checked so make sure it is still free if you park there, this website will not be held responsible for any parking violation's.

Parking spaces either with white painted bays or white lines generally means free parking. But read the third rule below.

Parking spaces either with blue or green painted bays or lines generally means it is paid parking with a time limit. There will be a pay meter near by again read the third rule below.

Parking spaces with a yellow zig zag line means that there is a restriction to parking there and there will be a sign to explain. It can mean many things from disabled parking to only parking at certain times of the day to taxi's only. So find out the restriction before parking there. The yellow zig zag line can be on free or pay parking zones.
