The Ruta de los Murales is an ongoing public art project that has transformed many of Estepona's apartment blocks and buildings into enormous murals. Created by both Spanish and international artists, these artworks cover entire building facades and can be found throughout the town. The route combines art, culture, and sightseeing, encouraging visitors to explore parts of Estepona they might otherwise overlook.
The murals are spread across various neighbourhoods of Estepona rather than being located in one specific area.
Many of the most famous works can be reached on foot from the Old Town, Orchidarium, and town centre.
Address: Various locations throughout Estepona, Málaga, Spain.
The murals are outdoor public artworks and can be viewed 24 hours a day, free of charge.
Most locations are accessible via public pavements and pedestrian streets, making the route suitable for wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and pushchairs, although some areas involve longer walking distances.
Several convenient parking areas can be used when exploring the mural route.
