1. Overview

Unlike many Costa del Sol resorts that saw much of their historic centres replaced by modern development, Estepona has carefully preserved its Old Town. Today, visitors can explore a maze of whitewashed streets decorated with thousands of colourful flower pots, attractive plazas, historic churches, and traditional Spanish cafés. The area is often referred to as the "Garden of the Costa del Sol" and is one of Estepona's biggest attractions.

2. Location & Address

The Old Town is located in the centre of Estepona, just a short walk from the promenade and beaches.

3. Opening Times & Accessibility

The Old Town is open and accessible 24 hours a day.

Most shops, cafés, restaurants, and attractions operate standard business hours, with many restaurants becoming busiest during lunchtime and in the evening.

The majority of streets are pedestrian-friendly and relatively flat, making the area suitable for wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and pushchairs, although some older streets have traditional paving.

4. Parking

One of the best places to park when visiting Estepona Old Town is around the Bullring  and  near the Orchidarium.
